Location and Production

Hollis Ranch, located in Charleston, AR, is known for producing top-quality calves that stand out for their impressive growth and performance. Their commitment to excellence in cattle production is evident in the care and management of their herd.

Sourcing and Genetics

Hollis Ranch utilizes Angus, UltraBlack and Brangus bulls on Black/Black Baldy cows with Northern Genetics, creating calves with outstanding growth potential and durability. These cattle will get big providing the end user with an animal that can produce lots of efficient pounds.

Health and Management

The calves from Hollis Ranch were weaned on July 19, 2024, and have since been on grass and a weaned calf ration to support continued development. The calves were wormed at weaning, received two rounds of Virashield 6 and Covexin 8.  Steers are knife cut as day-olds when tagged. All cows are raised on a year round custom mineral program.
